Payment and Guarantee

Payment by e-transfer is preferred within Canada. PayPal and credit card is also available. International orders can be paid via PayPal or PayPal invoice payable by credit card.

In most cases, geckos can be held for up to 1 month with a 25% deposit. Holding for a longer period would require an additional payment. Deposits are non refundable, however the full amount may be applied to any available animal at any time in the future. Deposits are also transferrable to another customer if communicated in writing via text or email.

Live arrival is guaranteed. In the event that an animal arrives seriously ill or DOA, the purchase price minus any export costs and shipping can be applied towards an available replacement of the same or different species. No cash refunds.

Shipping

Canada

Shipping is typically via Reptile Express or Reptile Runner. Cost typically varies between $60 and $150 CAD. Orders of $500 or more get $50 off shipping, Orders of $1,000 or more get $100 off shipping.

USA

Shipping of 1-4 geckos is a flat rate of $350 USD. Orders of $500 USD or more get $50 off, orders of $1,000 USD or more get $150 off shipping. Arrival is at the nearest FedEx depot that receives live reptile shipments.

Europe

Sometimes shipping to reptile shows in Hamm or Houten is possible, but requires arrangements well in advance. Direct air cargo shipping may be possible for larger orders.

Other Countries

Shipping via Air Canada Cargo is available in some cases. The customer is responsible for the import process in their country. Geckomeister will handle export permits.

CITES

Some species listed on CITES can be exported, however there is additional cost for permits and inspection. Permits may take 2–3 months, longer if there are any issues that need to be resolved.
